Master Expeditions how to detect a rune has been set?

Post by Bygone4a1n » Wed Oct 09, 2019 5:57 pm

Hello all

i am working on adding a single rune to a master expedition, can anyway help me out on how do i detect and tell bot when one rune is set? I have set conversion and the adding of the rune but i need a checker to tell bot that it nolonger should try to add a rune after it sets one.

any help would be appreciated.

Why? If rune has been set, the node is unactive. Bot will just skip it.

My thought is i dont wanna risk bot moves on without a rune being placed, so some condition to check if it has been done would be good.

@Bygone,

I haven't checked to see yet, but set up Astral to check for Auras on your toon BEFORE you have them activate a rune. If there is an Aura, it should pop up and you can use that as a conditional. It's how I got the rune grind to work on my quick and dirty run.

Do you botting in public with the players? I would not do that, it’s very dangerous.
Nevertheless, we are preparing an update for Quester Assistant, where there will be a validation of the node. Follow the news.

then I don’t understand what the problem is. I use default interaction without conditions. the first time the rune is set, the second time the action is skipped because there are no more nodes. only the leader can set, so this check is enough, IMHO.
